I was born in Finland in 1957 and have lived in Zurich, Switzerland, since 1980.
Since 2021 I have been back in Finland for several months a year, on the one hand in the middle of Lapland's nature and on the other hand in architecturally inspiring surroundings in Alvar Aalto's Sunila, Finland.
Switzerland meant freedom to me. I still have that freedom within me, but only now, after ending my professional career, can I truly experience it.
My original profession and various jobs were primarily in healthcare. I have two adult children and am a grandmother to a granddaughter and four bonus grandchildren.
The 1980s and 1990s were a turbulent time for me. Despite my full-time job, I never gave up my passion for painting and drawing.
Artistic Activity
I have been increasingly active in public art again since 2021. The inspiring environment and the freedom I previously gained have completely opened my artistic doors.
